Learning Through Exploration
Children enjoy daily access to our Streamside Garden and regular visits to the local park. Where they can explore, be active, and learn in natural surroundings.
Rooted in Our Community
We have strong links with the local school, church and village community enabling children to feel a real sense of belonging. We also enjoy visits further afield to South Molton and Barnstaple, where children can see and explore, real-life settings and everyday activities outside of the Preschool.
Inspiring a Love of Learning
Through stories, songs, creative play, and exploration, children develop early literacy, numeracy, and problem solving skills. We encourage imagination, curiosity, and the confidence to express ideas and try new things.
Our Curriculum prepares children not only for school but for life, building resilience, curiosity, kindness and a life long love of learning. Building strong foundations for life.
Together at the table
Snack and lunch times are calm, sociable parts of or day. Children sit together, develop independence and enjoy conversations with friends and adults.
We talk about healthy choices and encourage children to try new foods in a relaxed and supportive way. We believe in teaching balance and moderation and we love celebrating specials occasions, including birthdays. So that every child feels valued and part of our Preschool family.
