We are a small well established pre-school with experienced and dedicated staff that nurture the whole family creating liflong learners and freindships.
With a small group size of a maximum of 12 children per session we pride ourselves knowing all the children and parents that use our setting really well.
Candida Salmon
Manager and Administrator
Hi, I'm Candida I'm a qualified Primary School Teacher and Early Years Profesional (EYP), and I've been part of the Swimbridge Pre-school family since my eldest daughter started in 2020. I've experienced pre-school life from all angles, as a parent, Chair, and now Manager.I run sessions on Wednesdays and Thursdays and help out on Tuesday and Friday mornings. With over 20 years experience in early years settings, I'm passionate about helping the pre-school grow and thrive. I love getting creative with the children and teaching them fun, catchy songs. When I'm not at pre-school I am busy looking after my three children, all of whom have been through Swimbridge Pre-school. I also enjoy baking, going on road trips across Europe and taking care of our sheep. I am still involved in the committee helping to organise and run fundraising events.
Emma Crook

Hi I'm Emma I have worked in Early Years Settings since I was 19. I bring to the pre-school over 30 years experienceand have worked at Swimbridge Pre-school since 2004.I have a BTEC National Diploma in Social Care and my Early Years Diploma in Pre-school Practice Level 3.
I love my job and have a deep passion to make everyday a fun learning experience for our children. Pre-school to me is like a small family community. As we are small, we can get to know the children and their families and make a fun, caring and nurturing environment. I love the fact our children come through the door bubbly, excited and ready to learn and have fun. I love nothing more than to have fun, a laugh and a giggle and give a caring hug when its needed.
When I'm not at Pre-school I love swimming and sports, reading, gardening and baking.I have a cat Oki Dokey who I adore.
Fun Facts I love to explore the world having adventures. I have hikeda volcano the 'Gros Piton' in St Lucia and visited Canada,Switzerland, Germany, France, New York and Florida. I love sharing my adventures with the children and new things I learnt.

Hi I'm Georgina, I joined the staffing team in September 2022 but I have been part of the Pre-school family for many years. Both my children came here and I was part of the Committee supporting the running and fundraising of the Pre-school.
Before having my own children, I worked for 8 years in a Foundation Stage unit at a local primary school and have a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.I love working with young children, nurturing them and watching them blossom into their own characters.
I enjoy being out in nature, going for long walks with my family and our dog. I also like baking and gardening which are skills I like to share with the children at Pre-school.

Hi, I’m Emily. I’ve been part of the Pre-school family since my eldest started in 2020, and it has been such a lovely part of our lives ever since.
I completed my Early Years training when I left school and spent some time working in a local pre-school before starting my own family. I truly enjoy working with children and helping them flourish through fun activities, outdoor play, and of course, a hug or two when needed.
At home, I love spending time with my young family. We enjoy camping trips, days at the beach, baking together, and making the most of our time as a family.
I’m really enjoying being part of the Pre-school team and supporting the children as they learn and grow.
